A cold, windy Monday morning in January is a great time for the beach. Bundled up and with minimal gear, I traveled the lakefront from Foster to Hollywood in Edgewater. There were very few people out, which is a very surreal feeling to experience in Chicago.
As I walked, I gravitated more toward the textures the weather created. It’s one of my favorite aspects of winter storms, the way everyday scenes are slightly altered to make something new and exciting.
